Behind the Scenes: A Little Dust, A Little Magic
If things have looked a little quiet around here, I promise I haven’t disappeared.
For the last few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes on something that was probably long overdue. I’ve been rebuilding my website, going back through my older books, and working with a new publishing house to give my backlist a little love.
And by “a little love,” I apparently mean opening manuscripts I haven’t touched in years and asking myself, What on earth was I thinking? 😂
Every book in my backlist will be re-edited. Some will get new covers and new blurbs. Others may only need a little polish. I’m taking them one at a time and deciding what still feels right, what needs refreshing, and what deserves a complete makeover.
The important part is that I don’t want to change the stories or characters that made these books mine in the first place. I just want to give them the care I would give them if I were publishing them today.
There’s still plenty happening behind the scenes, and eventually there will be some brand-new stories joining the old favorites too.
For now, consider this a little peek behind the curtain.
E.A. Weston is waking back up. 💜
